Helene A. Lieb, Ed.D. joined the group practice of Levin & Zangrillo, P.C. over twenty three years ago. Dr. Lieb is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides individual, couple, and family psychotherapy to adolescents and adults. Prior to joining Levin & Zangrillo, P.C., Dr. Lieb worked as a college counselor and psychologist for over ten years at institutions in New England. She is a graduate of Northwestern University, Evanston, IL (BS, 1974), the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI (MA, 1976), the University of New Hampshire, Durham, New Hampshire (Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study; Counselor Education, 1980), and Northeastern University, Boston, MA (Ed.D., 1986). She is an active member of the South Shore Coalition of Independent Therapists, and continues her affiliation with SSCIT in several leadership roles including that of Vice-President of the association. Dr. Lieb has been at the forefront at Levin & Zangrillo, P.C. for providing the Practice with links to other practices in the area, along with maintaining current awareness of issues facing professionals in the field of applied private psychotherapy. Dr. Lieb's therapeutic style is eclectic with an emphasis on cognitive-behavioral, family systems, and relational theory. Special interests, and areas of expertise, include but are not limited to stress reduction, coping with separation and divorce, assertiveness training, and women's issues. She is a member in good standing of both the Massachusetts and American Psychological Association. Dr. Lieb has also given numerous presentations to professional and lay organizations in her areas of interest.
